Ozzman, starting a new thread was a good idea but please don't bump an eight month old thread that has run its course.

Amen :tmb: The worst example being Quarantine, a remake of REC with 6 months or so of difference between the two, what lack or creativity and originality

Apparently they're remaking The Thing... which has been already 'remade.' if that counts anyways. xD

I'm a big fan of Fridays Part 2,4,5, and 6..but a remake does not interest me at all.

I've been made to promise that I'll go and see it but if it wasn't for my boyfriend almost peeing himself over the thought of it, I'd not be going to see it.

The 4 feathers is a re-make of a re-make.

What makes it better is that in the 1977 version they used battle scenes from the 1939 version, its really weird to see.

Halloween was supposedly good, if they get tom savini in again i bet the new 13th will be aswell.

I am definitely going to see this and so are my friends. I am going to finish the original series though. It is the the first 4 put into one movie right? Although my friends have never seen the originals.

oooo some guy in a hockey mask and a machete.

Seems quite dull given all the gorey horror films we've had lately (and games for that matter)

he not only has a hocky mask but also has a Pillocase (sack from PT2)

totally agree, to me remakes are done simply because some arrogant fool thinks he/she can do a superior job. i find remakes insulting to the original creators and lazy

I think there was a thread on this, yeah there was and it was pointed out.

Anyways this comes out a week after my birthday, so what a great present to me to get scared out of my chair.. :p hope I get to go with my friends to see it.
