Hello All.
My Daughter loves the Tombraider games and recently downloaded a demo of Tombraider underworld onto her laptop.
The laptop has quite a reasonable spec of:
Display 15.4 INCH WIDESCREEN DISPLAY (1440 X 900)
INTEL® Core 2 Duo T5450 (2 X 1.67GHz) 667MHz FSB/2MB L2 Cache
2GB CORSAIR DDR2 667MHz
WINDOWS® XP HOME SP2
160GB SERIAL ATA II HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7200rpm)
CD/DVD Drive 8x DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW)
512MB GEFORCE 8600GT + D-SUB + TV-OUT Graphics Card
Sound Card Realtek ALC268 2 Channel High Definition Audio + S/PDIF OUT
The laptop plays the demo without any problems and we are planning to buy Tombraider Underground for her this Christmas, however when my wife spoke to the chap at the game store he said that just because the demo played on her laptop, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the full game will.
My own opinion is that the game should play fine as the demo does, as the only thing that is missing is the additional levels, but I would be very grateful if anyone could maybe clarify this for me.
Thank you very much.
Stan.
