What Couldn't Lara Do?
What things you expected her to do , but she wasn't able to ?
Here's my list:
- She couldn't survive a 1-1,5 m fall in Thailand:mad:;
-She couldn't jump above burning banisters in her manor ;
-She couldn't sprint-jump for longer jumps like in AoD ;
-She couldn't climb on top of her yacht on normal game-play;
-She couldn't swim in the Adaman Sea , even if she was able to swim in the Artic with only a teeny-weeny string :o swimming suit ;
-She couldn't go outside her manor or explore it;
-She couldn't fight Natla , Doppelhoe & Amanda ;
Basically this is just my "nit-picking" but , I really expected her to be able to do these things . This is not a bashing thread , as I really enjoy Underworld a lot .
As I said before I miss the fights :) wanted to kick Natla , Doppelhoe & Amanda ass :hea:

Yea that annoyed me, i'd fall off something and die and be like what the hell??
Can't really think of much. I hated how if you could see a ledge that is perfectly in reach but it wouldn't let you climb it cause you're not meant to go there.

Same goes for mobile :o .
- Couldn't wall-jump off every flat vertical wall. :(
That's the only thing that bugged me, but also the Sprint-jump thing. On one hand they delivered- she can jump whilst sprinting, but on the other hand I feel cheated because the jumps are no further than from standing, and they should be!

Yep. That's one of the things I dislike most about CD's TRs. They're so scripted. You're not supposed to grab that ledge so you can't grab it (despite it looking exactly like some of the grabable ledges). You're not supposed to climb that rock so there's an invisible wall in front of it...
There were a lot of small sized rocks that were a lot more at reach than some of the stuff Lara climbs, but of course, you're not supposed to use them so why bother. :rolleyes:
She couldn't EXPLORE EVERYTHING.

She can wall-jump off a good number of invisible walls though. :p

AND she couldn't shoot while swan diving!:)
Shooting while wall-running would've been awesome. Movie Lara did it :p
monkey-climb was also missing

Agreed.
The sprint-jump in AoD was the best IMO, the one from Underworld was quite pathetic to say the least.
Bring sprint jump back :cen:
She missed the ability to do acrobatics while diving as in the classics... A thing I posted a thousand times before the realease of this *** of a game
