Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter eloped on New Year’s Eve

They play brother and sister on “Dexter.” Now in real life, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are husband and wife.

Hall’s spokesman, Craig Bankey, said on Friday that the couple eloped in California on New Year’s Eve. They’ll walk the red carpet together at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday — the first time publicly acknowledging their relationship.

Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, just finished the third season of “Dexter,” the Showtime series in which Hall plays the murderous title character. They’ve been quietly dating for about a year and a half.

I don't see how them playing brother and sister in the show should implicate anything bad with their off screen relationship. Now, if they were brother and sister in real life, that would be something to discuss more widely about.

I finished yesterday the 3rd season of Dexter. I liked it a lot! It seems weird watching the show and knowing they are married.:D

Umm two people happily married because they are in love is a shame?:confused:

riiiiight....

Anyways I am happy for them. Hope and wish them luck, they look cute together.:D

Unfortunately I will never be able to watch the show the same way again.:p
