High blood sugar. It is a condition in which an excessive amount of glucose circulates in the blood plasma.:)

So is anything salty safe for them to eat (ex. Peanuts, Tortia Chips, Precels)?
And what about energy drinks?

It would probably be best to consult a doctor with this, we can give some advice but matters of serious health problems should be left to doctors.

This is pretty in depth about the type of diet that one should go on if they have high blood sugar:

However, I am not a doctor, so it would be best to ask these questions to a dietitian or your physician.

No not energy drinks those have tons of sugar. You shouldn't drink those anyways they are bad for you. They are like nuclear waste ugh I hate them.

Salt idk, all I know is that if you give them too much sugar then they might go into a diabetic coma (the coma is either for hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia don't remember which). They might have to take insulin to balance out the sugar if they have too much sugar in their system.

You mean Glycemic.
Avoid anything with sugar.

Read content labels on anything you eat.
It is very difficult to avoid sugar.

Actually if sugar intake is moderated, having a piece of candy now and then will not hurt you. That doesn't mean that going without candy for a month gives you a right to eat the whole bag.

But seriously, you should talk to your friend about whether they want/need your help with controlling their blood sugar. If your friend has these questions, then tell him/her to visit their doctor.

Just so you know here are the symptoms of a diabetic coma.
The patient may become unresponsive or unconscious. A patient suffering a diabetic coma may appear to have the flu (influenza) or a severe cold.
Warm Dry Skin
Rapid Pulse
Deep, rapid breathing
Fruity odor on the patient's breath

oocladableeblah

Hypo mean low and Hyper mean high
So hypoglycemic is they have low blood sugar and too much insulin
Hyperglycemic is they have low insulin and too much blood sugar.
