Tomorrow: My Exam/ Coursework Results!

Hi All,

Tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 14th August 2003) I am going over to the North West Institute of Further and Higher Education Building NWIFHE (http://www.nwifhe.ac.uk/) to collect my first year of AVCE/ A-Level results and I really don't know how I will do, so I hope you all wish me luck (I was in the same position last year when I got my GCSE's - out next week - good luck to all of the forum members that await their GCSE results by the way :D )

So - please wish me luck and I promise that I will tell you all what I got!

Good luck to all people on the same boat as me (i.e. - people awaiting A-Level/ GCSE results)!

By the way - the PS2 game Primal is excellent and I highly recommend it to all TR fans - you certainly won't be disappointed. Jen smashes a gravestone in the Athea Realm that has Laura Croft - 2003 on it - quite funny. The game is incredibly fun and humorous.

Eric Loren i.e. Kurtis' voice has been quite busy this year - he plays Jen's boyfriend Lewis as well!

Elen, why did you not replace my avatar with the one I sent you a few weeks ago? Do you want me to send it again. It looks the same - but I added the Corrs logo image to the end of the Gif to make it more complete looking!

Hi All,

I have tried to make it smaller - but it keeps coming out at 5.88kb.

I used Ulead Gif Animator to create it!

Any tips on how to reduce the file size any more without making it look awful?

By the way - I didn't get that reply Elen!

I got a B and 2 Cs, which was one grade lower than my Uni wanted, but I rang them up and they let me in anyway.

I got an A for my A/S psychology! :D I'm so glad and I hope to take it onto A2 then to university. Hope other people here were also pleased.

Hi all,

They aren't the greatest first year results - but I knew I would do badly in the two exams due to one of the terrible tutors from the Institute I had. The Finance teacher was not at all bad - I just had no interest in Finance.

My Results are a follows:

IT (3 Results)

Unit 1: Presenting Information (Entirely Coursework Unit) - 88/ 100 (A)
Unit 3: Spreadsheet Design (Entirely Coursework Unit) - 96/100 (A)
Unit 5: Systems Analysis (External Examination) - 55/100 (D)

Business Studies (2 Results)

Unit 5: Finance (External Examination) - 34/100 (U)
Unit 15: ICT and Business (Entirely Coursework Unit) - 77/100 (B)

As you can all see - I didn't do too well at the exams - but the way I see it, I only got 5 marks below a C for the Unit 5 ICT exam.

I am still happy with my coursework results though!
