Pierce Brosnan? I haven't seen the movie, but wouldn't really expect him to get a Razzie...

Haven't seen Mamma Mia (and I'm not going to), but I never liked him, tbh. :p

Is Pacino in Righteous Kill really that bad?

Al Pacino, 88 Minutes & Righteous Kill

ok,being *the only* Al pacino fan and specialist in this forum (trust me,I've seen 40+ films of his,I know my ****) I admit these 2 films were awful...but it wasn't his fault!!the scenarios were downright pathetic.

I think his greatest films are:

Scarface
Godfather
Dog Day afternoon
Bobby Deerfield
Frankie and johnie
scent of a woman
devils advocate
chinese coffee

:)

Agreed. I think Al Pacino deserves better than the "razzies" list. Indy IV also deserves better as it was a good film. Not the greatest Indy, but a good one. :)

I think Pierce Brosnan wasn't bad in Mamma Mia. It's obvious he's not a trained singer, but he did a decent job nonetheless.

I thought "The Happening" was pretty good... sure there were some aspects I didn't like but I found the premise interesting... :pi:

Pierce Brosnan wasn't that bad.
He has a HORRIBLE singing voice, it sounds like some poor animal being killed, but his acting was fine!

I've never seen anything by Uwe Boll, but the trailers were so bad I never wanted to. :D

Oh the premise definitely was, but I think Shyamalan chose the wrong way of story-telling ( la Signs, following just a small amount of people) for this kind of premise. However giving it a Worst Picture nomination is a little too far...

The Razzies are so moronic. Many actors and actresses only get named by them because they happen to enter bad movies, which has nothing to do with their personal talent. The movies they nominate, also happen to be quite famous blockbusters that they just wanna bash, they rarely remember to nominate all the direct to video crappy B movies that are made every year, and that are far worst than all of these! But they aren't as famous so there would be no publicity right?

Besides, I liked Indy.

uwe boll:D:D:D..

i wonder how he keeps directing films. im sure he is by now the most hated director in hollywod. not only because he is bad, but because he likes to play with game movies. which makes eveything really dramatic.

i think al pacino its one of those fat cows who owns a career because of one sucessful movie. just like robert de niro, and pierce brosnan. but i may be the only one to think so.

The Happening is probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen. That one's right up there with Meet the Spartans... I'm actually shocked that Don't Mess With the Zohan didn't make this list. To say that movie was retarded is a severe understatement.

I heard Paris performance in Repo! was good, they seem to give her the nomination just because it's her. Now the hottie and the nottie deserves it.

Surely none of these are anywhere near to be the 'worst something'.. I think it would be more accurate with 'Most disappointing [something]', but whatever.. tom[eI]to, tom[a]to :p (get it? "rottentomatoes"..? ;) ... :o eh..)

Besides, I liked Indy.

The 4th one too? I found the ending very underwhelming and I was rather disappointed.. Should've left The Last Crusade as the final Indy movie, it epitomises the quality of the would-be trilogy much better.. but yeah, tastes and all that :p

Edit: Hmm, should I feel proud that I have only watched 1 or 2 of the nominated movies, I wonder?

Lmao. Here's hoping that Disaster Movie/Meet The Spartans will win for worst picture and Jessica Alba for worst actress.

Shyamalan has talent as a director, but he shouldn't write any more.

Of course, I also feel this way about Rob Zombie and Quentin Tarantino.

Ha, Uwe Boll definately deserves to be on there.

Actually made the mistake of watching Postal, but only got it because my boyfriend wanted the copy of Postal 2 the game that came with it.

My head actually ached after watching it.

The movie was so horrific, so disgusting, so...... beyond stupid, that it actually caused me physical pain.

I do, I just think he's overrated and overindulgent. I'd be interesting in seeing what he could do if he actually tried to put his skills at the service of a story worth telling, instead of just masturbating/congratulating himself. I think his schtick is getting old.
