I still remember reading about a sign on a electronics shop.

"We can fix anything!!! (Please knock loudly, the door bell doesnt work)" :p

I remember quite a lot from Greece and Japan, mostly attempts at the English spellings of food and road signs; pee soap, aborigine salad, turn to the reft. :D

Well are English GSCE last year we had to make quotations from a play called Our Town. I wrote out loads of quotations from the stage manager. The teacher ripped them up because I spelt it Stage Manger on all of them. Ahhh well she was a ***** anyway!

One time my English teacher was giving birth so the class had a substitute. This girl wanted to sit next to her best friend but couldn't because the class had a seating chart. Well she told the substitute,

"That's an old seating chart, she changed it a few days ago."

And the substitute pulls out a piece of paper from his pocket and read,

"This seating chart is up to date, if any of the students tell you otherwise they are lying. Do not believe them."

She was made a fool in front of the other students. :vlol:

i wouldn't call it an epic fail, but perhaps an epic oversight - but just plain funny none the less. there's an old theater out in Morehead City, North Carolina which has been "for sale" for many many years. Every day passersby are greeted with the hilarious sign that states:

"Morehead for sale"

Ok, you all know I'm a hardcore Christian, but this sign I saw in front of a church constitutes as an epic fail to me. It read:

"God, man's best friend, not dog"

Ok.... :vlol:

Omg then you'll totally love the one I saw on the church sign down the road from my house, I can't believe I forgot about it.

"Real Men Go To Church"

I laughed so hard! Its definitely an original approach to enticing blokes into religion!

To be honest all this 'EPIC FAIL' stuff have been around the internet for years, then everyone has started using it. So something that use to be funny, has now just been overdone to the extreme. :whi:

I still giggle though, but rolling my eyes at the same time.

I'm not actually joking when I say a Churchsign I pass everyday when I come home from school says: "Jesus saved my life." and it has a picture of a guy giving a thumbs up. Now, that's normal, but the guy who was in the poster was obviously stolen off the interwebs by an idiot, because he's wearing a shirt with a name tag that is obviously a Muslim name. I mean, Mohamed? Oh yes. Very Christian.

Maybe that was the entire point of using him as an example? ;)

Many Westerners convert to Islam these days, I would expect a few Muslims to do the same kind of converting (although likely not in the same numbers)..

Since we're on the 'funny church signs' thing, it reminded me of this one:

It's probably been posted somewhere on TRF before, I think this is where I got it anyway..

Exam time, so there are signs around the common room (who decided it was a good idea to have exams in the rooms under the common room, anyway? haha!) reading "Please be quite as there are exams taking place."

Maybe the teacher who made this sign should be retaking their spelling exam?

I was at a place called Sushi Lounge and our chef came up to us and said," Hello! My name is Kokoro *something* *something*, Our weekly sushi is either dog food or cat food."

I just looked at her and she said," Oh, I am sorry. I was staring at the Petsmart advertisement!"

Lol, I've seen that one before too, but tbh, I like it even though it's a little cheesy. And imo, a man seems all the more manly when he's got his religious priorities straight. Going to church instead of sleeping in... I really admire men that do that. Sounds funny, becaue I'm a woman and I do that, but there's something about a man that does that that makes me have a lot of respect for them. Sounds funny, but I find it attractive. :p

OH and the pool warning sign at one of the hotels I stayed at in Japan. A funny but Epic Fail.
