Hai thar guise. :D

Does anyone know any good dark (preferably) OR upbeat electronica bands with no vocals, but with percussion instruments (drums), and synthesizers (obviously)?

I am not looking for anything with vocals, and musical instruments (except for drums).

Or, if any of you know any good percussion-only bands that would be great too.

:)

I find it odd that you mentioned electronica with no synthesizers... that's like asking for rock music without guitars. :p

Last.FM has many ambient Dark electronica bands, mainly underground groups.

Well this is less techno and more fusion. Its by a group called Apocalytica and they do amazing combination of Classical instruments (specifically the Cello) with metal.

Have a listen:

I have quite some electronica, but mostly with vocals...

Try tiesto and oakenfold? Also try alot of Ministry of Sound and Pacha. (They both should have websites). Also try looking for Ibiza music or Dj's from local nightclubs.

Try Mortiis and Thou Shalt Suffer (or any side project Isahn did. In fact, you'll probably find that stuff under Emperor at the music store).

With your musical tastes I could recommend PsyTrance & Drum 'n' Bass, because most of it is usually dark:
