This is getting exciting! I really hope that if AJ doesn't come back that Rhona Mitra will slide into fill her boots? I think i'll be dissapointed otherwise but i guess we'll have to wait and see! I'm pretty sure too that WB will do a great job!

Anyway, I'd really hate it if they did change Lara's background as an aristocrat. Lara strutting around in a posh mansion serves as a wonderful contrast for her expeditions in the field and is a very interesting bit of the character.

If they cast Megan Fox, I'll save myself the trouble of buying a movie ticket.

Oh my lord, I really, really ****ing hope not.
Lara Croft shouldn't really have love interests - she's a career woman! God damnit, why is that every time people get their hands on something good they have to turn it into a gigantic ****ing turd?

No darker Tomb Raider (unless its an AOD movie, which I doubt it will be)
No getting rid of the English aristocracy - Lady Lara Croft is not your average Jane Citizen and oh man. The main villain will be some blonde bimbo who's holding her hair straightener prisoner or some **** like that and they have to foxxy box over it.

I bet that's what a lot of execs think will sell.

She isn't an aristocrat in the original bio. Although she comes from a aristocratic backround she doesn't act like one and preferes archeology which her parents don't approve of. So she is just from aristocrats just not an aristocrat. So I don't think they will get rid of her huge mansion or anything :tea:

There's obviously alot of confusion here, this is a complete reboot of the film series. Like Batman Begins.

I doubt it will happen but would anybody else love a 15 rated Tomb Raider movie?

Imagine if it featured atlantis the bloody gutting pulsating walls Natla with her intestines wrapped around her stomach missing her hand.

Although i don't like the thought that a "maybe" replacing Angie as Lara Croft, i might get the ticket... Just to see how it's done and if i don't like it: i'll start B****ing about later...
