Reading the official movie guide, Daniel Craig's section. He says that
"Something has happened in the past that has screwed up their relationship and perhaps Alex wants to try again. It might not happen in this adventure but as I have signed for two sequels..."

Does anyone know what happened to him? Did he not want to do it anymore?Was he fired? Could he possibly return?:confused:

Anything is possible but the contract was made with Paramount, not WB. My guess is since they're doing a reboot, they'll be ignoring previous characters/actors.

Especially that he's doing 007, can't see him getting involved into another 3-4 months demanding schedule.

I am not a Bond fan but it would be nice if he made a cameo, maybe.

I liked his character.

I think he's going to be a good James Bond. I see no reason why he should get involved with TR again.

Maybe he was worried about being typecast as a TR star before but now he's been 007, nothing would really overshadow that. Nothing to lose I'm guessing.

Me too. I always thought it was funny cos Angie was pretending to be British and Daniel was trying to be American. And a bit ridiculous.

I was surprised Daniel Craig did not appear in Cradle of Life. But he really did ham it up though, with that ridiculous American accent and all the strutting around naked. I do agree that Alex was very one-dimensional as a character, and hope they use a male character from the games such as Kurtis or Larson.

I'd love to see Daniel Craig back. I quite liked his character. I just can't see him doing it though. Any interview I saw with him, around the time Casino Royale came out, the interviewer always just made a joking comment about TR and moved on. It was never seen as the high point in his career!

Hopefully just Amanda and Winston (and Natla) and get rid of the other two nitwits Hilary and Bryce.

But seriously. You can't go from Bond chic to Tomb Raider-horribly drab.

If TR wants to get serious, I doubt they can afford Daniel Craig. They would have to go very cheap.

Continous mummy/daddy script is a nono...

yes, but there wasnt any nudity. you didint see any butt or full-frontal.

When I watched the first Tomb Raider film again the other week I'd realised that I'd forgotten how young the butler was. That really annoyed me. :/

I would rather see Larson in the next one:)

Aye I'd like to see some original characters. As a matter of FACT I think the next Tomb Raider film, if there's to be one, should be based sorely on the original game. Y'know 'cause a lot of films are anyway. :P
