I don't have this it's a shame they don't have any other language music listed. :(

I would sign up just to keep a record of what English songs I listen to, but maybe later. :p

Yes, I've had an account for a couple of years now. I've got 932 different artists in my library. o_o

I've hardly listened to VNV Nation for a year or so, yet I can't seem to beat 'em off first place in Overall Top Artists :p

Also, I tag my music weirdly so it's not entirely compatible with Last.FM's system... But oh well.

I don't use it that much as a social network, I created it just because of the great Last.fm software :D.

Well they do actually... they have plenty of different artists.

I used to like Pandora but it only works for people on the USA.

interesting...
I dunno why that is to be honest. It's like an Ipod helper app for people to hear music from different artists they may not know of, artists that are similar to ones they are familiar with, and they can use the application to purchase that song or album through itunes. and everyone knows that Ipods work everywhere in the world. so that is just odd to me.

It used to work but due to licensing issues and whatnot, now it's only available for people in the US.

Dear Pandora Visitor,
We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

That's what I get when I go to the mainsite. Shame, I used to really like it.

It is primarily an Internet radio service that plays music adjusted to your specific taste. They couldn't get the licences to play the music worldwide, so they had to lock it off.

since I'm all about equality and equal opportunity. and since it is basically just a radio station like you said, with no convenient way of stealing the music - it is basically like turning the receiver on and tuning into your favorite station. Try a US based proxy (ip: port variety) which can be found at a certain website that goes by the name of:

hidemy[expletive meaning donkey]

hard to find a decent one that will work smooth though, since they are free.
