Evangeline Lilly - New Lara Croft ?

Hi everybody :)

Today, when I was reading newspaper, I saw a short text about the next Tomb Raider movie. According to the newspaper 'Sabah' (one of the biggest Turkish newspapers), there are 5 nominees for Lara Croft, and Evangeline Lilly is one of the nominees, and the luckiest one too. The newspaper is really realiable, but, I can't read that information anywhere else too :confused:

My vote is for Angelina, but if she wouldn't be, Evangelina might be good :) At least, I prefer to Evangelina rather than Megan Fox :D

So what do you think ??

I think Evangeline Lilly is, looks wise, a nice midway point between Rhona Mitra and Kate Beckinsale, which would be ideal. However, I think she is too "damsel in distress" to play an ass-kicking, globe-trotting adventurer. She is quite whiny on Lost, too, but I won't judge her just yet.

I suppose Evangeline could work, though I would think either Kate
Beckinsale or Sienna Miller would be better since both are British. Summer
could do it as she pulled off a very nice Cockney accent during a FIREFLY
episode as River Tam. as, with SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, she does
have the kickass part down, though I think she may be also be suited
for Amanda.;)

If Angelina won't do it, there's no point in continuing the TR movies.

And that pic of Evangeline from matrix54's post is how I see the woman. I fail to see what it is people find so attractive about her. She's like a guy.
