Master Speed Demon X360 achievement?

I know that like the swan dive achievements, to obtain the final achievement you need to do them all in one gameplay, (without turning the console off).

But that's okay, the speed demon achievements are the last half of Mexico and a bit of Jan Maden.

But anyway, I was wondering how I can load a game on Mexico and play through it until I unlock the achievement, because won't it wipe away all the treasures I had previously collected when it autosaves? (I am not willing to find all of them again!)

So how do I get around this? I have a memory card.. if at the start of TRU when it asks me if I want to use my HDD or my memory card, should I chose the memory card instead?

THEN, when I have completed it, just copy the HDD save back onto my card again so I don't lose any treasures? :o

Best bet is just finish the game first.

Then reload your Mexico save and play from there.

Also, it is BS you cant turn off the console - who told you that lol - you just have to complete all 3 in order on the same save.

You can not load Mexico and do the one there, then load a later save in Jan Mayen - you need to FINISH Mexico and move on to Jan Mayen from that save with your first SDemon.

If you have finished the game, from the treasure hunter screen load the autosave for Mexico, all your treasures will be collected, so you will be free to play around with the achievements. Do not save to the memory card and then overwrite the save on your hard drive, most likely you will lose your treasures.

l did the other two difficulty levels that way, never had to worry about collecting all the treasures and relics again so just whizzed through the levels. It was much more fun not having to break all those pots and smack out every plant in Southern Mexico, much shorter though. If you want to replay the game collecting everything again load your first autosave point and then start a new game.

I'm in the same boat as you, but then again, I don't really care about the treasures - it's not like they unlocked anything good.:whi:

I had the same problem until yesterday. Master Speed Demon had been evading me for ages. I reloaded an old game just before the Calendar puzzle and then (using a stopwatch because the achievements won't trigger a second time) made sure I'd beat the first two times runs. I didn't even need to use the same save slot i used different ones, as long as the runs are down in order it doesn't seem to matter. When I completed the third run the Master Speed Demon unlocked. Don't ask me why but the same method would not work in revist location mode (for me) even though some others say this has worked for them.

you can start new game and it will keep all your treasures amd relics coz I tried this the other day so I could get some extra achievements.Still in need of them (6). Nd does ny1 nowhere the highest place 2 swandive off from apart from Thailand.

Was rushing earlier, to clarify:

On Amanda's boat in the Med Sea, you climb the cargo containers and jump towards the bridge. Just near there are white laundry bins or something you can jump into the sea off.

Above the Kraken is easy enough =)

But save before you do each jump so that if you don't get it right you can quickly reload. Lara did all sorts of annoying jumps over the boat until she did it.

With the Master Swan Diver I *think* it's on first play through or at least if you go back use a save game from first play through. This one can be as buggy as the other one (Speed Demon) if not worse.
