RE: Unable to resave on the WII

I dont know if anyone has had the same problem on the wii platform.
Doing the first save works without any problems, but when I want to save the game again, by over writing the original save it didn't happen, the game didn't save??? What am I missing?

The first time I found this out was the day after, was not a happy chappy

I cant see it having anything to do with not having an additional SD memory card.

Can anyone help me out on this please

Pete

Are you trying to save over an autosave game slot? If thats the case it wont let you the same as the 360. You need to save over another slot. Hope I understood you correctly.

I had this problem on the Wii. The answer is so simple it will make you angry XD When it asks you if you want to overwrite the save, the dark flashing option is the one you are choosing (not the white one). You must have hit "no" thinking that you were hitting "yes" (that's what happened to me).

l am not sure the Wii version even has autosave points you can return to. Are you sure you are actually selecting to over write the save game Syndrome some seem to have had trouble getting the selection right. The Wii should also have 4 slots the same as the PS2 game, l would suggest using more than one in case you have to go back to an earlier save point if something goes wrong.

It does not have autosaves. There are indeed only four save slots which must be manually saved to.

If that is the case then which clever bugger thought of using the "dark flashing option" :hea:....

I'm going to try it later when I get in, thanks everyone for helping out :D
