Last thing i read was that Ubi went back to the drawings boards because of the negative feedback on the early footage of the game? I'm not sure if they actually changed the game or not but i'm waiting to see how the game plays out before i pick it up. I loved Double Agent but the story seems really weird now.

I believe it will come out in November. E3 will unveil it.

Assassin's Creed 2 will probably come out around February/March 2010.

This wasn't the first time this game was penciled in for one of Ubi's Fiscal years. But I mean it's Ubi, how long can they allow this to be in development?

The game started it's development back in 2004, right after Chaos Theory. So there's been a big amount of work on it.

I hope it will be impressive, and long, very long.

^ GameSpot hasn't been a reliable source for a few years now. Plus, those shots are ancient. It's likely that SCC will be completely different...

GameSpot always seem accurate in terms of release date, to me. :p
I know those shots are old, but it's the only media we've got now. At least we get the idea of the game.

I'm not sure about Gamespot with dates... i actually went in to GameStop today and i browsed through the upcoming games. It says Splinter Cell: Conviction is slated for September this year.. i forget the exact date but it was early September.
