I got this as an email and thought of sharing it with you guys. These images are taken from (as claimed) the biggest ship in the world which goes by the name "Freedom of the sea" which is owned by the Royal Caribbean International.

If its really real....it's just fascinating, breath-taking...and surely extremely expensive.

Yes, I've seen this before and it looks amazing. :tmb:
And they're not "extremely expensive" at all. I was looking in to going on a cruise with a similar one recently - they do have those VIP rooms with all the posh service, but there are a lot cheaper rooms as well (well, most of the rooms are the cheaper rooms), and the whole trip is probably cheaper than going for vacation overseas. :)

Just looked it up, cheapest rooms start at only 385 per person for a six night cruise around the Caribbean, not too shabby! Shame I don't live in Florida :( The only cruises near where I live are too Ireland and back.

And it doesnt look bigger than the USS George Bush.

Nice ship, but I wouldn't spend my money on it. It may be just like a city... But a really small, indoor city you can't get out of. :p Not my kind of thing.

I went on one of their sister ships (cant remember which...sorry!) and it was very nice. I have to say though, be prepared to shell out some bucks, it was freaking expensive just to get a drink! ($4 for a coke?!) But, there are bonuses, such as unlimited fancy buffet! :cln:

Edit: Just remembered, I tried to buy a PSP game on the ship, it was $80! Really ridiculous, but I guess they can charge what they want. Oh, and the cruise was to the Bahamas, which was very nice. You can buy knock off coach bags and jewelry for cheap. But the island was very beautiful, I wanna go back! :)

So all the ship need is a sailing date on New Year's Eve, a ball in the dining hall, Fergie as a singer and some random Rouge Wave, and we can see the ship in all its capsized, upside down glory.. :D

Seriously, somebody please make an Escape From Poseidon video game based on this ship. The freaking large gameplay area would be awesome! :D

I've been on two cruises similar to this, i loved em :D Playing basketball in the middle of the med. :B I also liked the idea of having all your food & drink on a tab so your dad gets the bill at the end haha, the rules of drinking are less strict too.
