As much as I loved "Beneath the Ashes".....I finished the "Epilogue" DLC of the new "Prince of Persia" yesterday and THATS how you enhance the plot without endangering the overall story arc. Very very well done!

If anyone owns the new Prince of Persia......get your 360/PS3 ready and download that thing!

Couldn't you have just used this thread?:)

This has nothing really to do with TRU. I played the Epilogue, & it does the same exact thing BtA did. It continued the story but made it more confusing. CD doesn't need to take notes from any other developers, instead they need to focus on their own ideas they seem to be doing fine.:)

Oops, sorry. I'm an idiot. Could someone close this topic please.

CD really does need to take a look at things like PoP and other games, to note theirs are no longer in anything like the same league.

But you cant deny the game was a much bigger and more polished package than TRU. PoP, like it or not, is a proper current gen game, with something resembling production values.

It is sad that I just played through X-Blades from some tiny Russian developer that seemed to put more effort into putting out a finished polished product than TRU was >.<

What's funny is I am hearing the DLC for PoP has some tech issues, and I had some bugs & glitches in the main game as well. One even made me restart the game.:ton:

Tomb Raider + Lara could simpy be the best game ever with todays tech, but we have yet to have one that lives up to the potential.

I really think SquareEnix could be a good thing for it, if they pick a great new dev and make sure it is properly done.
