TRC

i was recently reading a magazine with an address of a website that shows you what a website looks like as a tree and thought this site might be decent to show what it would look like as a forrest, as you see trc is more uglier than trf

Ummm... What the hell are you talking about? Why would we want TRF or TRC to look like a tree? I'm confused... :p

I think it shows what the site would look like if it was a tree. Because people contribute to discussion on TRF, the TRF tree is lush and green. Because TRC is more of a media hub that is updated maybe twice weekly, it is dead with little leaves. That doesn't mean that TRC isn't awesome though.

Okay, then. :p That's a bit odd...

TRC doesn't need comments really though, if it did it would detract from TRF. I'm *guessing* that's why Justin doesn't include a comments feature. Interesting concept though! :tmb:

Fascinating! :p
I wonder what Eidos' website would look like! Angry trees in a forest?

EDIT: Most times, their bark is worse than their bite! :D

I don't get it? is it supposed to read the pages code and display it as transformed into color map? or does it update in real time according to content posting? I don't think that part was really made clear

ahh... I get it now... its a code crawler and makes a "tree" image of your website by parsing certain code into certain images etc.. then goes to the next page that is linked from there etc ;)

I have a red tree on my site :jmp: ZOMG!! and an ORANGE ONE!! woot for color!!!

it seems it is going on now to people's blog sites and what not - not even staying on my site at all. heck... it may do the entire web if left alone.

You have a site?
was a project for Jo Anns orchestra. Started out as just a .htaccess locked directory where they could download music scores from - then I went buck wild with it and made a site out of it, then I got the even crazier idea to make a forum for it. Its pretty much been abandoned, but its still out there - and its been indexed by Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask etc..
