IE8: Overall i would think its Meh. Better than IE7 but is a bit better

but look at this part which ****ed me off

if anyone clears pages of websites visited then your gonna get a HELL OF A SHOCK coz

1. the history page says "days to keep pages in history WTF this is the exact same thing as in IE6. IE7 go to it a click of a button the pages are gone automatically and no days in history. Seriously MS I DONT WANT TO SEE MY MA GOING ON IE8 TO SEE PORN WEBSITES REAPPEARING AFTER( how many days you want it to be in history) TO GIVE ME THE...............

and MS you still are crappy as well. Firefox will crush IE Apple will **** your asses up and Sony's PS3 and PS2 will use Indiana Jones's whips to whip that XBOX 360 Outta the stage.

anyone else think of IE8 as.............

Haven't tried IE8 and don't think I will any time soon. I'm content with FireFox at the mo, no need to convert. :)

I didn't think much of IE8 either, nothing that amazing to be honest - the increased support for CSS is good though, especially for web designers.

It doesn't seem much different. Although, I've always perferred IE over every other browser, so I plan to continue using it. ;)

I've never liked Internet Explorer too much but I have no choice sometimes because Firefox still isn't compatible with everything.. like my school databases or some websites I go to, so I really haven't gotten a choice.

IE8 is heaps better then 7 though, that's for sure. :tmb: It's fast for me.. at least.

Dude calm down.

I'm not sure what you mean though. Every browser I know has an option to tell it after how many days the history is automatically deleted. If you want to delete your history manually in IE8, go to Safety -> Deleting Browsing History and press Delete. It will not "reappear" after that. I think perhaps you misinterpreted some functionality. Also, no history at all will be recorded if you use the Safety -> InPrivate Browsing function.

Also, it really is pretty fast. There's not a whole lot of (respectable) tests to go on, but most tests wouldn't agree with you calling it "slow", nor would my own experience.

Did you by the way have a second point, after 1?

That's why I love Firefox! You can create separate profiles and lock them! :D

They say Internet Explorer is for slower computers, and Firefox is for faster computers. When I get a new computer, I'll try Internet Explorer and see if I'm content with it.
