Trailer y'all! (http://threespeech.com/blog/2009/03/ratchet-and-clank-trailer-coming-to-three-speech/)

Get ready for time-bending fun and intergalactic mayhem with Ratchet and Clank™: A Crack in Time

Ever wanted to travel back in time? This Autumn Ratchet and Clank are back on PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) in the UK like you’ve never seen them before – and they’re on a mission to save the future!! Get ready another round of intergalactic chaos with Ratchet and Clank™: A Crack In Time, the latest addition to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s multi-million selling Ratchet and Clank™ franchise.

Concluding the events that began in Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time will answer some of the franchise fans’ biggest questions. After discovering that lovable robot Clank’s disappearance was engineered by Dr. Nefarious, the Wrench-swinging Ratchet races to save his best friend. Along the way, both will finally uncover the hidden truth behind their origins, and discover their ultimate destinies. As the duo come closer to reuniting, they’ll have to ask themselves the biggest question of all: Do Ratchet and Clank’s destinies lie with each other? Or is it finally time for the universe’s greatest duo to separate for good?

If you haven’t played Ratchet & Clank before and are new to this successful franchise, prepare to be immersed in hilarious action-packed galactic capers and discover how time travel will entertain you in ways never before experienced.

Powered by Insomniac Games’ fourth-generation PS3 technology, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time will continue to bring the experience of playing your own computer generated animation movie to PS3. Expect all the laughs and witty banter of a Ratchet and Clank title, as you enjoy all-new space gameplay that gives players the opportunity to engage in space battles, explore the surrounding star system, and discover hidden items and collectables… You’ll come head-to-head with a brand-new cast of baddies, and some old favourites, and obliterate them with cool new weapons and abilities.

Get ready for a brand new time-bending, laugh-out-loud adventure when Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time arrives in stores in Autumn 2009. It’s the newest addition to the smash-hit Ratchet and Clank franchise, with eight titles across PlayStation®2, PS3™ and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) platforms. With Ratchet and Clank, the future is never certain!

Cronk/Kronk and Zephyr, I think.

And this'll be an insta-buy. The R&C series has never let me down! :D
...at least not more than once (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratchet_Gladiator)...

I saw the trailer, looks great. I'm thinking that other Lombax is maybe Ratchet's father, look at the picture inside that thing he's holding, father and son?

I'll prefer it if it's not like Quest For Booty, I want this one as a game you can buy on disc ;)
Otherwise it'll take a long time on download, and it's likely to be a short small game.

That trailer is cool though...

You can buy Quest for Booty in a Blu-Ray disc.

And that's an old lombax maybe. Perhaps they are saving the lombaxes?

I played Quest For Booty today, it's pretty good, don't you just love Ratchet and Clank.

It might be him in the future. I would assume you go through different times in this game maybe he goes back to help the other Lombaxes survive.
That might be his father. Although "father" and the son in the picture don't look anything like Ratchet the face on them is more.... flat and boxy it seems like.
Edit- then again Ratchet looks flat and boxy in the concept arts so nevermind :p I am guessing it is his father rather than ratchet since there was talk of his father in TOD.

It's cheaper to buy it from PSN, i bought the game about a month ago through there for 115 NOK. And then i saw the disc version in a gameshop that costed 199 NOK. So i'm glad i bought the downloadable version! :)
I just saw the trailer for the new game, and i have yet to finish TOD, i loved Quest for booty though!

This looks so cool. I love Ratchet and Clank. Can't wait to see more. Due to the picture of him with Ratchet in the thing he has, I doubt it's an old Ratchet. Probably his dad or some other old lombax. Since this is finishing this Future storyline, I think we may not see the series for a while. That would stink.

I bought the disc, got it for around £25. I did some more today, repairing 5 windmill things. I love Ratchet and Clank, hard to believe I totally ignored it when the first game came out in 2002. I got it a year later, thank god for that, 20 quid.

Ratchet & Clank "3" arrived for me today (Finally  )

It's fun! Definitely not as fun as Tools of Destruction, but fun nonetheless. It works better on the PS2 than the PS3, too. Strange.

I though R&C3 was pretty meh. It's too easy and short. I've finished it over 20 times. :p
