Lego Rock Band coming? More GH games too!

Also coming, is something called GH: Van Halen and Guitar Hero: BH (Band Hero?), whatever that is.

I've enjoyed all the Lego games, but I don't see what the hell this could possibly be?!

A lot of new Guitar Hero are planned this year as I've already reported in a Guitar Hero thread a few weeks ago :
- Guitar Hero Metallica
- Guitar Hero World Tour (PC & Mac)
- Guitar Hero Smash Hits
- Guitar Hero Van Halen
- DJ Hero
- Band Hero
- Guitar Hero V

I dunno if Band Hero is going to be an official new game tho, as it seems they bought the name like Drums Hero and Sing Hero. That doesn't mean necessarily there will be one for sure IMO. After all the latest Guitar Hero is already a sort of Band Hero with all its instruments... Well, we'll see...

About Lego Rock Band I'm curious to see more medias about it. :D

The total pimping-out of the GH series is ridiculous at this point... that's way too many releases for one fiscal year! (and I do believe they are all expected this fiscal year too).

Yes, that's a lot of games. But for the real fans it's a real pleasure. This franchise has a lot of success, no doubt all these games will sell very well.

I might get GH: Metallica & Greatest Hits but probably not for a while yet since I'm getting RB2 in less than 3 weeks! :D

I'm waiting for Guitar Hero World Tour to be released (yes, PC player here). We have to wait longer than the others versions for our portages. The game is going to be released this summer (apparently it's for June in the US, so the European version might come in July). Can't wait !!! :jmp:

I have already Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero Aerosmith. :)

Awesome. Most of the lego games have been quite good, I can't wait to see what they come up with.

Personally most of these spin-offs; Aerosmith, Metallica, Beatles are pointless, when most of the consoles they are trying to focus on have online stores.

But we'll see, I have GH3 GH4, and RB1&2 so nothing really beats them..

In this market, I'm not sure... after a while it's too much to buy.

They should release most stuff as DLC and let people buy the songs they want like Rock Band mostly does. Rock Band brought in over a billion dollars last year so that business model is obviously hugely successful. It's a more fan-friendly approach too 'cause you can buy just those songs you want... you're not stuck with disc after disc where you might like only half the songs.

I've never been a big fan of DLC, I've always prefered add-ons on discs (new games in this case) than DLC.
Yep, For Guitar Hero / Rock Band it's interesting for the fans to download directly the songs of their favorite artists.

Guitar Hero III PC didn't support DLC, and we don't know yet if our version of Guitar Hero World Tour will support it as well (I doubt of it to be honest).

Personally I know I couldn't resist to buy every new Guitar Hero game as long as they come on my platform. I'm too addicted to them ! :p

EDIT : Apparently Guitar Hero Greatest Hits has been renamed recently into Guitar Hero Smash Hits.
