Happy Landing

Hey everyone!

A lot of people asked me to report back where I ended up after leaving Crystal Dynamics, so here I am. I found a great new position at Social Gaming Network, which is only a stone's throw away from where the old Crystal building was. We make games for the iPhone and social networking sites like FaceBook and MySpace. I wanted to start making small quick games on the smallest platforms after years of making long ones on the biggest, and I feel lucky to have found such a great place to do that within driving distance of home.

Again, thanks for all the support and feedback you gave the team, the game, and to me personally. And for those who were unhappy with Tomb Raider: Underworld or the part I played in making it, well, better luck next time! :)

Oh, you might be interested to know that I recently got the 360 version of Legend and replayed the game. I still think TRU is better, but now I kind of think I was a little too nit-picky with my criticisms of Legend's story. Your explanations made the game make a lot more sense to me :)

Personally l always loved the addictive little games like Zuma and Bejewelled, rather than farm simulations, looking after the pets and digital board games. Something with interesting backgrounds and themes as well as addictive gameplay, something with more story to follow yet remaining a puzzle game would be nice.
