Does anyone know hoe to access/rip the 3D models/meshes from Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness? I have the PC and PlayStation 2 versions and want to be able to rip some of the models as is possible with TRViewer and the first 4 Tomb Raiders.
This is the only game I'm still trying to get the models from. Please Help!

you can use 3DRipperDX (http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/3DRipperDX.htm) to rip models and then you can import them to 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender, (not sure about meta).

I'm trying to use 3DRipper DX, but I can't seem to get it to work. In the first line, I put the path the the "Launche.exe" file in my program list, but what do I put under command line parameters?! I left it blank and keep getting error messages, please help!

Yuo have to link to Traod.exe, traod_p3.exe or traod_p4.exe . Dpending on your version.
Run aod normal (no 3DRX), then press ctrl+alt+del and go to processes and see what traod exe you have.
Close the game and in the path in 3DRX link to the exe you saw in the processes list :)

No such luck:( I keep getting a pop-up error saying SYS_ERROR_STRUCTURED_EXCEPTION_HANDLE

The game works fine on its own, but not with the program:confused:

I also fixed the sound acceleration on my dxdiag to basic, so that was not the problem:confused:

Are your drivers up to date and have you patched the game?

I tried it on 3 different computers with up-to-date drivers and when I patched the game, nothing happened.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure home to tell which version I have, but I am currently working with the un-updated version I got strait from the CD. The updated version gave e a far more coplicated error message that I cound't find a solution to anywhere:confused:

As in, what country is it from, and whether or not it is the original, or a modern-'sold out' version.
Some simply might not allow 3Dripper DX, but if other people have the same version as you, it would be easier to see what is wrong.

I'm also thinking Tech support would be able to help a lot better :o

I have the UK Sold-out version, but I don't know if that's any different from the original.
I'm sure some people have the same version as you, it might be your card in general. =/

It's very strange because the ga,e plays on my computer, ut won't run in 3D Ripper DX. Is the Ripper what's uncompatable?

How do you check v42 or v49 versions?

v42 and v49 are updates. Click (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/tng/updates.html).
Install 42 first and try again. If it doesn't work, install v49 and try again.

v42 didn't work, so I tried v49 and got the same error message as v52:

Sound card problem. Check for updates for your driver and/or turn down the hardware acceleration on the Sound tab of Dxdiag.exe. To do that, go to Start > Run and type dxdiag and press Ok (if it asks you a question, click YES). When the DirectX Diagnostil Tool window opens, go to the Sound tab and from the DirectX Features box set the Hardware acceleration from Full acceleration to Basic acceleration or No Acceleration.

This error message can also relate to a corrupted saved game.

Run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report.

Ok, I fixed the sound already, and it didn't work. Then I moved TRAOD_P4.exe into the LAUNCH.exe containing folder and that didn't work either. Here is the report. Thanks for all the help so far!:D
