I reinstalled (I say reinstalled because my hard drive crashed and I got a new one) Tomb Raider: Underworld recently. When I first played it, it worked just fine and I absolutely loved it!

And then my hard drive crashed completely, even Sector Zero was gone. 500 gigs of memory, GONE.

Anyway, I reinstalled it, and when I start the game, Lara won't stop shooting! I'm not even pressing the button to make her shoot, and I can't make her stop! I guess she has an itchy trigger finger or something.

Things I've done:

Rebooted my computer -didn't work.
Uninstalled and reinstalled it once more - All for naught
Rebound the shoot key - No change
Patched the game with the latest patch - Didn't fix the problem
Upgraded my Direct X - Made the game run smoother, but it didn't make her stop SHOOTING.

There are a few scratches on my CD, but not deep enough to cause any real problems.

Am I the only one that has had this problem?
How do I fix it? I want to play it so freaking badly because of the rumored new Tomb Raider game! But it won't work right because I can't even climb and stuff with her shooting constantly.

Here's a copy/paste of my rig.

Manufacturer: I built this monster.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Memory: 3326MB RAM
Hard Drive: 500 GB Total
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT
Keyboard: Wireless- Microsoft
Mouse: Wireless - Microsoft
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Ultimate (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.080917-1612)
Motherboard: ECS Elite Group

Here is a screenshot of my TR:U Folder. Perhaps we can compare and contrast and see if I'm missing anything? I have a feeling there should be a LOT more than what I see here (http://i43.************/2441hy1.jpg)

Diagnose.exe log can be downloaded here (http://files.filefront.com/SeraphDiagtxt/;13739219;/fileinfo.html).

ARDiag log can be downloaded here (http://files.filefront.com/SeraphARDiagtxt/;13739226;/fileinfo.html).

Right now I just uninstalled and ran trrc.exe and now I'm installing it again. It didn't help the problem.

Did you try it with another mouse? Are any of the keys on the keyboard stuck, perhaps you should give it a clean. You could also try unplugging other USB devices just in case something is interfering. I doubt it is a problem with your game your TRU folder looks fine to me, it is more likely a problem with your PC, but l am no tech expert. If you run and post the results of Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and ardiag.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/ardiag.exe) one of the tech experts might be able to see if anything is running that might be causing the problem or if something is missing.

If you uninstall and reinstall it again it might be an idea to run trrc.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/trrc.exe) before installing it again to clear any old registry settings for the game.

I just tried switching the keyboard and mouse and again, no fix.
Diagnose and ARdiag logs are posted.

have you tried updating your drivers?
