View Full Version : I made a Lara Croft TR1/Anniversary Doll! (amigurumi)
For those of you who don't know what amigurmi is, it is basically Japanese crocheted dolls. This trend has spread and now you can make amigurumi anything!
I took this idea and made LARA!!! Comments please! :)
The doll is about 18 inches tall. My daughter is jealous, but I am not sharing! (I'll probably have to make her her own!)

Thanks all! She's just a crochet doll that I made in my spare time. (lunch breaks, after the kids were in bed) I found a doll pattern free online and adapted it.
Side note: I wish I had time to make more and sell them! I would quit my job in a heart beat, but alas...the income is fine where I am! :D
I'm debating which Lara to make next...any suggestions? I'm thinking AOD (Cammo pants) Lara.
And I just really looked at the "tiger picture"...poor Eddie looks so honked off! LMAO! :vlol:

I remember making those a long time ago. Mine were horrible. I tried making a dog and my own mom thought I was making an albino whale. :(

Hmmm...I kight be able to make a bomber jaket to go over this outfit. I have some "suede" brown yarn and some fuzzy yarn that might work...but first things first...

Thank you all for your kind words! :hug: THanks to all of you, I started y second doll on my luch hour today! I have 1 1/2 arms done and a BOOT!
If I didn't have a full time IT job, this is definatle what I would spend most of my time doing! Who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery, quit my job and open up "dinahcat Dollz" on etsy! :D What a pipe dream!
So stop back in a day or so and I'll have my second "Doll Raider" done! (And mybe Eddie will pose nicely next time!)
