Hi there,
I just got Adobe Photoshop CS4 n it's 3D COMPATABLE !!!!!!
n u can import OBJ files just like Maya n 3DMax ...etc. and rotate render them, but the problem is that I can't see any textures on the model, just pale gray, the layers list shows a sub category called Textures with many files named model 28 ... bla bla bla n with the Eye logo on but NO TEXTURES appear !!!!!
plz help me what should I do ?! what directory should I put the files in ?!

and do video cards really matter in these Diffuse files showing up !?!?!?!?!?!
plz help me, Thank u (note : I've used Wings 3D before n the textures showed up)

Strange, Photoshop doesn't even import OBJ's for me :p
And anyhow, I believe It can only do that for the purpose of a model reference for lighting and whatnot...

+ Of course it won't apply the textures to an OBJ, no. An OBJ is just a 3D mesh.
You'll need a 3D function able software like Maya, 3D Studio Max or Blender to apply the textures :wve:

You can make renders with Cs4,
I'd look at the MTL file in wordpad and see if the textures are linked correctly.

how can I handle that ? plz help me
The rending is AMAZING but it lacks the TEXTURES
it looks way better and easier than Blender, but I tried errythin' even loading the Textures one by one left one mistake which is the eyes n eye brows looked rather too trasparent as if some other texture is missing.
