Hey,

Early today I cleaned both my hardrives since a lot of crap was piling up and taking up space. After I do that the option to hibernate is no longer avaliable, it doesn't even appear in any menu I can find. I'm using Windows Vista, and if the problem is complicated I can post my diagnoses results. Pls help me

Thanks in advance.

by hibernate you mean suspend?

I'd start by
this (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/re-enable-hibernate-option-in-windows-vista/)
hoping it helps

does it?

EDIT
take a look here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929658/en-us#MoreInformation) too
especially where it reads
...[if] the Disk Cleanup Utility was used to delete the Hibernation File Cleaner ;)
that would be corresponding to MS Knowledge Base, Article ID: 928897

what about it

My pleasure.

I'm grinning because this somehow reminds that long, long ago someone (iirc no less than Paul Gardiner himself!) jokingly wrote me:
what! you've been able to fetch something useful from MSKB :D

nice memories
apparently sometimes it can happen :)
