View Full Version : Good, but disappointing.
Well, I just finished TRU. I enjoyed playing for the most part, but I'm sure all of you know that there were bug issues with certain levels, like when getting too close to a building it would stick you there in a continuous walk or run mode. Also, when there were cinematic features, you could see through her clothes, like near her shorts or at her stomach. It was disappointing, because they should have caught that and fixed it. I enjoyed the story though. It was well written and interesting, but I couldn't over look the fact that after all the game play that afterward there was a...treasure hunt? That's it?! You can't go back to Croft Manor, which is hugely disappointing and the new downloads (Beneath the Ashes and Laura's Shadow) can only be obtained by having...points? I dunno...I think they should bring a few things back from the dead.

Happy you finished it :)
Hi lizinp, welcome to the forum :wve:
I take it from your DLC reference that you played Underworld on the 360? I've got the 360 version too (as well as PC and PS2) but I can't say I noticed the problems you mentioned with Lara's clothing during cutscenes. But the game definitely has a few bugs (despite a patch being available). I certainly had that bug where she'll get stuck against a wall, along with numerous other things (don't even get me started on the camera). I have to agree about the Treasure Hunt mode as well, it does little to encourage me to play the game again and, like you say, some of the levels are omitted.
But that's not to say the game doesn't have its moments of greatness. The Naga garden in the Coastal Thailand level was a joy to behold when I first got there. Southern Mexico too is a pretty awesome level, especially once you get inside Xibalba :tmb:

 those glitches didn't happen in my game. Anyway, the only thing I am kinda disapointed about the game is it wasn't long enough really :ton:

you could see through her clothes, like near her shorts or at her stomach. What? Where? :cln::p
Or do you mean Lara went invisible? That happened all the time when I use the camera, so dreadful. You can't even zoom into her without her gone from the screen.
