Please reduce pictures to 800X600 or smaller.

Please tell us your operating system.

The following statements refer to this page:
http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html

Perhaps your problems are referred to below.

In General Problems:
The Start screen is only using half the screen.
The game was started when the Command Prompt window was not in Full Screen mode.

In dgVoodoo Issues:
How can I run the game in windowed mode?
Run the program C:\TOMBRAID\dgVoodooSetup.exe. In Platform groupbox always choose DOS (it defaults to Windows). See Setup Image Ref: 2.

Game has missing textures (ATI cards).
Check you are running VDMSound v2.10Beta or later.Try changing the Colorkeying Method to Alpha Based. See Setup Image Ref: 13.

I'm confused by the "It should be here" rectangle. Do you mean you're trying to run the game in that small window?

Sorry about the pixel thing :(

Um, when i said it should be here i ment lara should be in the center of the screen.

Bobbinator if you run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report here one of the technical support people might be able to see what is wrong with the settings you used for dgvoodoo.

Have you configured your DgVoodoo properly?

http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/images/dgvoodoosetup.jpg
Refer to pos. 8 & 12 especially.

And yes, run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report.

I have found that when i click DOS and then select woring in VDD mode this problem happens. But i checked my settings and it has fixed the problem. But now it is REALLY pixelated, how do i stop this?

^ This way only:
run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report.

I suppose you have an ATI Radeon video board :)

1. Update video drivers from www.intel.com (Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset).

2. Turn off VESA support in VDMSound settings for TR: right click TR icon on desktop, select Settings, untick "Use basic VESA support" and press OK.

3. Enable VDD mode in DgVoodooSetup.exe > DOS section > Global tab, generally configure like on the image I posted above, but don't set very high resolution. 800x600 is enough.

If any issues, use Final Installation Option 2 (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/faq/tr1.html#installgame) - i.e. disable VDD and run server process before running TR.

This issue with an Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family card
reminds me of another thread to be consulted here (http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=6225) on p. 12

about an Intel 82945G Express Chipset

and reply by Dege on p. 13:
Yes, it's a (typical) Win2K issue. TR1 (even the Glide version) uses VESA 640x480 for Eidos logo and movies. If setting a VESA mode at the startup fails, TR1 falls back to 320x200 screen size (all the 3d-transformations are scaled to that size) but drives the voodoo-card in 640x480 (it's the lowest resolution in Glide, if I remember correctly). It must be some kind of bug inherited from the software version which uses true 320x200 paletted VGA-mode instead in that case. Win2K can't emulate VESA modes, only the standard VGA. Try to enable built-in VESA support in dgvoodoo, it should solve this problem.

Presumably that ought to be v. 14.25.50.4764
but why not try this (http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/detect.htm) in advance?
