View Full Version : New version of Glidos: True3D using cheap anaglyph glasses
A while ago I added True3D support to Glidos, but it worked only on Zalman monitors, which I can imagine people haven't rushed out to buy just for the sake of using Glidos. Now in v1.44 I've added support for red/blue anaglyph, so you just need cheap glasses.
Well, I can't comment on how well it works because my 3D glasses are crap and don't work in the slightest. But well done, as soon as I get some good ones I can't wait to see how this looks. :D
EDIT: I like the glossy new desktop icon. ;)
Provided one lens is red and the other cyan, they should work. You might be having problems with the wide image separation. I've made it like that because that gives the feeling of actually being in the scene, but it can take some getting used to relaxing the eyes and looking through the monitor. Try starting stood back from the monitor at first. Also the offset is adjustable in the Glidos config

Oh and I thought you half $ to get the £ value? Or is that method not done no more?
That sounds pretty cool. :tmb: I think I have some cheap 3D glasses somewhere...

I always got a blinding headache when using those red/blue glasses in the cinema :p
I remember everyone leaving the 'Jaws 3D' film, falling over, bouncing off walls, and throwing up, until they regained their senses :vlol:
