you'll have bought the cdrom there, but then I don't understand what "installer" you've been using
on Vista anyway once you have your cd, little doubt that you'll have to use a separate installer to make it work.

One for the Tech support section, I think.

What manufacturer is your CD ? Original or 'Sold out' or other :)

just put your cdrom in the drive, refuse to autorun it
get one installer fit for Vista like e.g.
this one (http://trld.mintrasystems.com/tr1setup/) and run it.

No problem :)

And welcome to the forums :wve:
If you have more problems, use the Technical Support pages (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15)

By the way, there is a GREAT DEAL of information in those pages... use the search function also. Lots of people have had the exact same issues as you :)

aoife1901, please understand that your game disk was designed to work BEFORE WINDOWS WAS INVENTED! It takes some work and advice, but people are installing it on Vista, so don't get discouraged. :)

Who used Windows 1.0? I first played TR on Dos (6.0, I believe). Windows 3.1 was the first version my office used, IIRC. And that still ran on top of Dos.

Win 95 was Buck Rogers. And I saw it considerably after '95.

But right, I should have said "before Windows was widely used".
