Aw don't you just love looking back on these old things. It's so funny looking at it now and still sensing the same excitement you had at the time when the then new game was due for release.

Yup. I remember when Tomb Raider III first came out. This was prior to Tomb Raider Chronicles at a time when I had to pay for the games LOL! I almost camped outside Electronics Boutique until they opened on the day Tomb Raider III was released. Was the first in the door, and the first to buy a copy :D

The excitement has dampened somewhat now tho
... :(

The TRiPLEX and MULTiPLEX are fun for the stroll down memory lane. TRC is so huge, I love it.

LOL, it's alright for some! Don't have to pay indeed http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yes, I've been there at the door of Dixon's on the day of release, waiting for them to open (we didn't have an EB then, then we got one and it changed to Game, but anyway). That was for TRLR & I did it again for Chronicles. The height of sadness I think, but I've done it none-the-less. Funny you should say the excitement has dampened. I waited till I think a month after release to buy AOD (wish I'd never bothered). But my excitement for TR7, now that Crystal Dynamics have it, has risen again. But still I don't think I'll be doing any camping outside of shops.

[EDIT] Oh I'm not having much luck with posting today, double posts, typing errors. I think a gremlin snuck in in the night and swapped the keys on my keyboard around. Either that, or the nervers for my typing fingers have been swapped around!
