The only other fog effect I can think of is the TR3 type of "fog" you often see in the jungle levels. And in the TR4 Cairo levels. It is a flat layer of fog.

It is made by stacking two rooms, the lower one is small and shallow, like a puddle of water would be.
Connect the rooms and use "toggle-opacity2" on the door (like you would do with water).
Then texture the door with the fog textures (with transparency selected) from either TR3 or TR4.

I guess you could also use fog 'objects' which I've seen in a few levels like Serpent Gemstone and Tomb Raider Expedition. Where it's a small object made of several flat meshes and textured with foggy textures. At least I think that's what they were.

Yes, those are objects and work very well for fog. :D

That is what they were :). But sadly they don't "glow" like regular fog does.

(Look in StrPix for that , before applying the texture, change the Shining parameter but beware, it works only on moveable, it'll only make the game crash if used on static ;))

Since shinning makes light moving on the faces of the object, it could make what you want ;)

But that would make the faces the fog objects are made of look square.
And that would ruin the nice organic look they have now. :(

Btw, TRNG does have a feature that can give static objects a pulsing light. This can be made very subtle. Who knows, that might work. :D

Yes, i know how to do this butt this feel a little to flat for this sloppy floor.. It do a great job on tr4 city level because the floor is flat.. On a floor like this i just cant do this, i dont am able to set the floor right:(
