View Full Version : Any news on when the classics Tomb Raiders are coming to ps store?

There hasn't been a single word about this anytime recently so I was wondering if anyone knew if they are even considering releasing the games on any of the ps stores?

I think that is actually up to Eidos since the game belongs to them. At least it's up to them as to IF they can go on the store.

Assuming they say yes, Sony has been releasing only one or two a week and they don't tell us 'til the day of so one Thursday they'll just say "Tomb Raider is now on the store for download."

Really don't know why Sony doesn't make a bigger deal about their weekly updates. We rarely know anything until the day of.

I need a NTSC version of TR1. It always freezes my PS3. And I have a PAL disc and that does me no good on a NTSC PC.

What do you mean by NTSC PC? If you have a PC version of the game then I think it should work since computers aren't region-locked :)

It would be great to see the classic Tomb Raider on the PSN Store, actually there are quite a few great PS1 games that should be on there!:D

If you have the original PS disc you can play it there right away and I think they're being output to higher res now.

Go to ebay or something.

It depends on the publishers and the rights to host the game for certain regions, for example, Japan has had Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 for a very long time now, but the US store just very recently got RE1, whereas the EU store has yet to see any of the bunch, along with Metal Gear Solid.

well I can't see eidos jumping at the chance to promote cores games,I'm not sure why but I just think that....

HOWEVER!

if it brings in more money,then they would do it sometime;)

Don't you get updates by email? I get them everyday in my hotmail email and those are up to date.

TRA for PSP has just been released on the store, maybe the classics will soon :)

I get one every Friday telling me about the update the day before.

Do the e-mails you get tell you what is coming to the store the following week?

I honestly believe that's why we haven't seen the classics on the PS store. They either don't want to/are unable to because of the fact these games were developed by Core.
