Heavenly Sword Help Needed!

Hello there,

I have Heavenly Sword for the PS3, Im in the "Heaven And Hell" stage, The thing that keeps on bugging me is that I dont know how to deflect the energy thingies that he throws at me, What are the buttons I should press to do that? :o

Ah Heavenly Sword, beautiful game.

Here's what you do: you have to change stance based on which color energy he is using. When it's blue, use speed stance which is normal stance; when its orange use the heavy stance or whatever its called. When he shoots it at you wait until it hits you and a split second after it hits you, if I remember correctly, you will hear a "shhiiiinnnk" sound and that's when you hit triangle to deflect.

I did that, Nariko did deflect some, but he's too fast and I keep on missing them, and I die >.< lol thanks for the help anyways, Ill just try it one day till I beat it :D

Yeah, I hated that final boss. The timing was awkward. The only good thing is that it doesn't make you start all the way back at the beginning when you die.

I just want a whole game of Twing-twang. Those levels were the most fun for me. :D

I had trouble, this advice helped me
Deflect his bolts back at him. You gotta time it just right, but just hit triangle as they are about to hit you. For blue bolts you must be in speed stance (default) and for orange bolts you must be in power stance (R1). After you reflect his bolts back at him a few times he will freeze up for a bit. Run up to him and hit circle to begin the "button sequence tester thingy" to damage him.
Rolling around a lot helps too. Constantly roll around and vary your attacks (speed,range,heavy), That should let you get enough hits in to allow you to kill him with the button mashing sequence.

FYI - The button sequence is square the first time and triangle the second when you start the button mashing sequence thing.
One more thing. The ravens he shoots can't be blocked (that i know of). Just roll out of the way at the last second to avoid them.


You just have to be patient and master the blocking :).

Actually. They can be deflected, but not towards Bohan. In ranged stance, just attack when the birds get near you (remember [doh i forgot her name] the snake woman's wave attacks. Similar to that)

You won't hit him everytime, it's nothing you are doing wrong, he just dodges some of them
