Ok. I have used this past year all kinds of pillows for sleeping.
I have had many problems with torticollis, neck pain etc.
I had an old pillow, one day I decided to change it for a goose feather. At first it was really comfortable. But one day, after a bad night sweats:confused:, the pillow was unbearable smell of rotten pen:whi::pi::ohn:. Washing was not a solution.

Later I tried two types of pillows viscoelastic special anatomical, very expensive. A large, one small. Both produced me great pains in the neck.:(

Finally, after buying another latex and undergo two more months, I have to buy the traditional fiber pillow, cheap and common to any shop pillows.

For three days I'm recovering my normal status. :o

All this is simply to ask what pillow do you use??? :p:cln::D

Ugh! I have used many different ones as well. One was too fat, the other was too flat. One was too soft, the other was too hard. :hea:

Right now I have one filled with feathers as well. Normal 'classic pillow' shape, not too flat, not too fat, not too soft/hard. It's perfect. :o

I don't use a pillow at all. I sleep on my front with my head turned to the right laying flat on the mattress. I can't think of anything more uncomfortable than using a pillow, it's horrible to me.

I sleep without pillows. I just lay my head on bed/couch/floor. And I never had problems with neck. I've always been told that how I'm sleeping is good for health.

The moral of this little tale is, you don't always get your monies worth. :whi:

Sometimes good old fashioned cheap n cheerful is the way to go. :p

I bought a set of two new pillows recently as my others were far too thin and more than a little worn. Two back to basics from my local supermarket. Cheep and very comfy.

You okay there, Miss Goldilocks? :p

No, no no I proved them too!!!:yik:

They are precisely most expensive. I have three at home!

Do you want one???? :whi::vlol:

The problem is that I sleep on my side. With head resting on my arm. If I don't use pillow my arm may appear like a mummy.:o:p

With this:

Hey TRL is that from Carrie?:) It's been a long time since I saw it.

@Tampi: I've got three goose feather pillows. And I use them all.:D

The Japanese solution is interesting but sexist: don't they make a male version?:mis::p:p:p

Obviously those would be uncomfortable, since there's gonna be a Pickle Surprise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgWn7zbgxZ4) ruining eventual dreams... Although they could make it peanut sized.

PS: @mods, i'm not going throught the pickle idea, so a warning about MGC is not needed.

*breaths sigh of relief*

I have a pillow which is supposed to support my neck but the best thing has been my foam mattress topper (which looks like it is covered in egg boxes but is lovely)

I don't use pillows. I sleep kind of weird. I sort of lay down on my back, and turn my head on a side so im using the top of my quilt as a pillow. I've always done it :o

Indeed ;)

Personally I use ordinary pillows :) I have two and it must stay as two. But when I wake up in the morning I find my pillows have slanted upwards as if I was slouching in my sleep. It's not comfortable, then it's not uncomfortable either...

I have a normal fiber pillow, and it works the best for me, my mom used to have neck pains, so she used an anatomic pillow it was curved to the inside and had little bumps all over it, suposedlly the desing keeps your head straight, and it worked for her...
