View Full Version : Little thing i noticed in mag scans...

Some details i noticed in these pictures...(they are cut/pasted from article hence the part of lara's head)

In top right corner, I dont know about you but i didnt notice any crocs in the lost valley.

Lara's pistols use a different sprite, not sure if i like it better.

The main picture has Larson in it, he never turned up in Vilcabamba, perhaps he was meant to be a bit like pierre, also notice how his gun isnt textured.

Discuss.

(Also feel free to post pics of things youve seen in mags but arnt in the final game)

I thought that Larson was originally going to be a sidekick for Lara in Peru? :confused:

Someone pointed out Larson & the croc about 2 years ago. Beta versions.

At the back of my Playstation 1 TR1 cover there is a picture of Larson in Vilcabamba in the beginning area and he is running towards Lara.

I have the picture on my case too, I did think he might be helping but it was takin out because they couldn't do it yet.

Thats what I remember reading. I'm really gald he wasn't, he would've totally ruined the alone feeling.

Thanks for posting! :tmb: I have seen this before though. :)

I think it would have been nice to have crocodiles in Peru, more variety! :D

In the early version he followed Lara around and done a few shots each encounter like Pierre did in the Greek levels. :)
