Amazing,

Just imagine the possiblities. :cln:

The first-ever video advertisement will be published in a traditional paper magazine in September. The video-in-print ads will appear in select copies of the US show business title Entertainment Weekly.

Very clever, but I can't see it catching on. Waste of money if you ask me, especially when it's only going to be used for the sole purpose of advertising.

Is this another bit of trash that certain people are spending money on?

And am i going to have to pay for it in my bills when i get my own place?

This country is in a ression!!!! hello!!! were supposed to be trying to recover not spending it on trash!!

Its bad enough that when i move out and get my own place i'll (and so will the rest of the people in england) will have to pay for the olympics!!! and we'll be paying that off for YEARS

You're not paying for it, the ad companies are.

Awesome idea, but I don't see it catching on past the initial novelty of it.

Will it have sound as well?

You open up your newspaper or magazine, turn to page 3 to look at a lady and then you hear. "Did you not get an erection looking at that picture? Call us today for all your Erectile needs. :D"

That sounds really cool actually. I mean yeah it is kind of pointless, but the fact that we can do it is really cool. I will definitely try and look at one (if they are not wrapped in plastic)

What about throwing away the magazine? I mean aren't you not supposed to throw away cell phones and tvs or just electrical devices like that in general?

It's cool, but nearly pointless. Print media is fading fast...

*sigh* I better not have to sit through a thousands of commercial ad's before I can turn the page. First Cable now magazines  :p Pretty cool though.

It would be funny if they created an ad that triggered when you first open the magazine... regardless of where the ad actually was...

"Pssst... hey... open up to page 43... I'm tired of waiting already!" :p

Who is going to buy that? It will be expensive as hell, and I don't even bother buying it now. Most people have access to a little thing called internet.
