Because Legend is a piece of ****. The writers had no idea what was going on and neither did the costume designers.

But to answer your question properly. She was wearing different make up in certain outfits. And in the Classic outfit, they tried to make her face look younger.

Why do people feel the need to bash Legend at every possible opportunity?

@ gabrielorie - all the meshes for Lara's face and body for the different outfits are different. I guess some minor changes crept in while making changes to the outfits. I don't see any radical difference among the faces in various outfits, though her figure does look distinctly slimmer in some more than others.

Every outfit has its own mesh of the character. So everytime you choose another outfit, it's not only a different outfit but a complete different figure. And some faces differ from others too.

I was looking through the TEXMOD moddings a while back, and came across an interesting eye texture that has a sparkling effect.

This has been made delibertly to make laras eyes follow you around the room.

I wish i could remember where the thread was, as its a very interesting modding experiment to try out.

Anyone know the thread ?

Chi, I guess you referring to Zipper's discovery and modding of the eye texture sparkle. He has made a number of mods with this effect, and other people have borrowed the idea too. But this link (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?p=2673170#post2673170) will take you to his original discovery.

I loved how Lara's hair, makeup and outfits would change for each level, as well as the more unusual goth look with tattoo and all. Just wish the classic outfit had not had such dark eyes, its a bit off putting and does not look at all like Lara with eyes that dark.

So they had to rebuilt the model for every outfit? Why the hell didn't they just copy the Legend one? or have some sort of template?

Perhaps because they thought we might like a bit of variety? Basic model is the same, only the colours and outfit change.
