Megan Fox to host SNL 35th Season Premiere

Megan Fox will host the premiere episode of Saturday Night Live’s premiere on September 26th in New York City.

“Megan is psyched to have gotten this opportunity,” the insider tells Life & Style. “She has a lot of surprises in store for the audience. This is the perfect opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills, as she’s launching her new movie Jennifer’s Body [on Sept. 18].”

Megan has been brushing up on her comedy by doing a digital short with funnyman Andy Samberg, the insider adds. So that’s why Andy’s in L.A.

I'm not gonna lie, it's probably gonna be teh suck but it's Megan. SNL is my favorite show to watch on the weekends and I've been waiting all summer for it to start up again.

SNL used to be my favorite show, but the comedy got dry and it became boring and unfunny. Megan is the only reason I will turn to this episode, any news on the music act? :)

She definitely will, and even though Jennifer's Body is gonna suck, it's going to make a ton of money. She's killing two birds with one stone :p

Well I'll like it because of Megan and I also love horror movies, but by sucking I mean the critics are probably going to really hate it. I'd almost bet the reviews won't even be remotely good.

That would be killer if it was Paramore & Megan in one show.:cln: Plus Hayley is doing a song for Jennifer's Body so they might promote that as well.:)

LATELY? SNL hasn't been good since Gilda, John, Bill, Loraine, Jane, Garrett signed off 30 years ago. It's had fleeting moments of great fun since, but on a whole it's never reached that plateau again.

(Then again, I'm just a crusty old fart. :tea:)

she's a much better choice than the crappy hosts of the last two season's premieres. seriously, phelps and lebron? no thanks. i'll definitely be watching, but more because i love the show than her.

i'm 35 myself. loved the original cast, but there have been periods in the show's history where i felt they reached the same level of quality or even exceeded it. that's just my opinion though.

I love the Target Lady and the Barry Gibs Talk show with Jimmy Fallon skits. They only do Barry Gibs when Justin Timberlake is on though. Kristen Wiig for me is the star of SNL, she's by far the funniest person in the cast.
