I saw a post for favorite, so I figured I'd inquire as to the other side of the story. For me my least favorite is Natla's mines... When you have to run by that damn cowboy defenseless, always gives me the willies.

For me, it's a tie between The Cistern and Natla's Mines.
In The Cistern, there was a ton of backtracking through rooms that took FOREVER to traverse. For me, tedious is not fun.
In Natla's mines, it was, again, all the backtracking. I didn't mind it in other levels, because it wasn't such a pain in the ass :pi:

TBH none. I really love them all. And Natla's mines is my favourite level. I only wish Caves were little bit bigger, that's all.

Natlas mines is my favorite too (You'd know if you read my review) and you don't have to trigger the cowboy and theres not that much backtracking just going to different rooms.

How do you not trigger the cowboy? I'd be interested to try that.

And just to be clear, I never said I HATE the level or anything, I just don't look forward to it very much, not as much as some of the others anyway.

I didn't like Natla's Mines that much because it was a little boring. And i prefer the Peru/Greece/Egypt sections over the Atlantean section. The Atlantis levels look more like they belong to a Contra or Metroid game :P

By the way, i allways thought that the Atlantean Boss had a egg-shell on his head like Calimero.

I don't think there's any level I don't look forward to playing. There's a reason I measure all TR games according to this one.

At this point I do not even separate the game into levels, to me it's just one continuous fantastic experience.

There was a poll not too long ago asking what was everyone's favourite TR1 level, and also for the other TR levels. There was also the possibilty of a least favourite poll, but don't know if there will be one now.

Anyhow, don't have a least favourite TR1 level as such, although my interest did wane a bit when I got to Natla's mines. It wasn't the lack of enemies, just something about it did not enthuse me as the previous levels did.

I couldn't possibly be so vindictive as to choose a level from TR1 as my least favourite. They all have those moments that make me smile.

There weren't any levels I didn't like, sure the was the odd section in a level I wasn't fond of but overall I really enjoyed all the levels! :tmb:

well there were some sections in levels that were not good but the ame overall is just fantastic. Not a whole level I could say i didn't enjoy :D

I don't think any of TR1's levels were particularly bad, but I'd choose either Caves, Tomb of Qualopec or Tomb of Tihocan as my least favourite. They were alright, but not really up to the standards of the other levels.

Atlantis levels are my least favourite.I prefer other locations.

I think that there are parts of levels that i don't particularly like, but i do love the whole game. :)

I don't think there is a level that I don't like, to be honest. I love all the levels, and after the disaster TR1 wannabe of 2007, I learned to appreciate it even more.

I can't tell you which is my least favorite, but I can tell you which one I love most, and it's City of Vilcabamba. It made me feel like I was really there and discovering something the first time I played it. I'll never forget it. I was about 11 or 12 at that time. Good times :tmb:

I meant you don't have to trigger him when you get the fuse, but it might be possible to avoid triggering him otherwise.

a new game comes into the world, and if people like it then they do if not it's not their type of game, it really helped the fact that it was it's own new genre too:)

I don't have a least favourite level in TR1, so I think I'll be replaying this for the nth time :D I'm just undecided on which platform I should replay it :vlol:

I think I'll give it a go using glidos and hi-res textures, for a change :)
