okay, since im having problems with some DLC i downloaded, i thought i should make a thread pertaining to these issues.

ok, i downloaded some DLC, and at first my 360 didnt recognize the DLC, because i never did the update required for the console to recognize my game's new add-ons.

so, i downloaded LS and BTA. it said i needed an update, so i did it. but only LS appears on the list when you go to the Play download Mission screen. i was able to play BTA while connected to XBL, but not offline. and i was able to play LS offline. (i dont have XBL at home, but i do have access to it elsewhere.)

so, i downloaded BTA first, yet only LS is playable offline. and i already did the update. whats the deal with this? i also have DLC for Fallout 3 and Fable 2, and did the updates, but they arent being recognized. on Fable, i only am able to get the free stuff, its saying that i need to download the Premium package; which i already did, and did the updates.

should i redo the update(can i)? or what?

I have the same problem with BTA and LS. Sometimes they work when not connected to XBL, other times they simply dissapear. My original guess was that this is to do with the console licenses.

For example, if you get a new console, you have re-register your licenses here: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/drm/
Even though i still use the same console, i have to wonder if this is the problem?

Other than BTA and LS though, i have to be connected to play all my other DLC and XBLA games, but that's simply because i'm biding my time before i transfer my licenses again.

what do you mean by re-registering the license? of the 360 or the DLC?

i put my HDD on my brothers 360, and used his console to download the stuff (onto my HDD), since he has XBL in his dorm. i hope thats not the problem.

would i have to bring my 360 and log onto XBL and do it? i read the website instructions, i just need clarification.

That is the problem then. The DLC is assosciated with the console you downloaded it on, basically so you can't download it on loads of other people's consoles. You simply need to re-register your liscenses with that link then. :)

Oh, and yes, you do need to be connected to do it.
