I set it to:
Damage to Lara - More
Ammo Capacity - More
Damage to Enemies - More
Time to save grabs- Less
Mainley for more realism and i like having all the guns to use. :D
Anyway, i think this was a good idea, but didn't make a giant amount of difference, since the bulk of the game was exploring and puzzles rather than combat.
Yeah. I set it the most realistic way.
Damage to Lara - More
Ammo Capacity - More
Damage to Enemies - Less
Time to save grabs- Less
yes all on hard except I set the time for grabs longer so the animations wasn't soooo fast and bla looking:)
I also turned on the botton prompts because it didn't feel right without them for some reasons:)

I think that I had the same as Philip :D yes more realistic ;)
No.
I just put it on the hardest difficulty and played lol.
But sometimes I would change my weapon to a new one if I ran out of ammo for it. :p

I did, on the hardest mode I was not quick enough to stop Lara falling when she lost her grip. Lost no time giving her more time for grabs. I was a bit disappointed there was no option for more or less enemies, the other options never really interested me.

Basically, I changed the settings to what made the game more challenging.
Damage to Lara - More
Ammo Capacity - Less
Damage to Enemies - Less
Time to save grabs- Less

I had it set to the hardest difficulty mode and I turned off all hints and tutorials (except for the beginning of Lara's Shadow because I didn't know the Doppelganger's new moves :p). I didn't use the help on demand system at all either, and the sonar seemed pretty useless. I loved Lara's Journal though. It was a fantastic way to give background info and a bit of Lara's personality without spoiling any puzzles or interrupting the game's atmosphere :tmb:

I made it as hard as possible. ;) I've never even tried it any other way...
I played with
Damage to Lara-more
Ammo capacity-less
Damage to enemies-less
Time for saving grabs-less
Turned off the training text, hints, the thing to show what buttons to push, the targeting reticules(i think that's the word).
Then turned the background music all the way down.

As for the sonar map, that was pretty useless, which is a shame, because they could have come up some situations where it had to be used to progress.
I set it to
Damage to Lara - More
Ammo Capacity - Less
Damage to Enemies - Less
Time to save grabs- Less
so that I could have a "more challenging" experience.

I done that too lol
why even put them in?
I'm pretty sure we could manage to mash every button on our controller until we knew which button does what.. I mean, thats what we had to do in the older game. OH, and thats what instruction manuals are for T__T
Game designers need to learn these things. :whi:

I guess it wasn't really that something, it felt like a beginning of a new system for difficulty but not a complete one.
