No spoilers please. I've just snapped this up on DVD. Not sure if I'm really expecting anything like the original, but I'll give it a whirl anyways.

I didn't know there was a second version. Is it with Patrick Swayze?

I carried a watermelon?!

LMAO. Me and my girls always say this when at the supermarket, or anywhere else with accesible watermelons. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

It's relatively new I think Elen and doesn't involve the original cast. I didn't know about it until I saw it on the shelves in the shop yesterday. I just thought  I never thought much of the first one.

Patrick Swayze makes a cameo as a dance teacher. Altho he's looking a LOT older, he stills puts the rest to shame http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

blegh only connection I have with that awful show is my sister up in Sydney doing the musical version of Dirty Dancing....

Dirty Dancing

IMO, the best performance of Swayze was in "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Seriously http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I thought he was best in the war film Uncommon Valour

Never seen Dirty Dancing. Looks a bit too chick-flicky for me.

Yeah. A chick flick it certainly is, and the sequel is even more of a chick flick. It was pretty funny tho. Worth a watch even once.

Oh I hate that term 'chick flick'. What's wrong with a guy watching a so called chick flick anyway. Pretty in Pink, Flashdance and Footloose are supposed to be chick flicks. Well I got em on DVD so http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-2.gif A good film is a good film.
