Does anyone know why Tomb Raider Unfinished Business was not released on PS1.

Nope, it was for PC only.

I think that this is not the answer, the question actually is Why

I don't know.
I suppose it's probably like BtA or LS, they probably didn't want all the comotion of a couple add-on levels.

( Yes, I know that Core created UF and CD created BtA and LS )

The Eidos team that made the gold levels had no programmers who could port the levels to the PS1 and Core Design were too busy making Tomb Raider 3. Phil Campbell and his team were just using the tools Core passed on to Eidos to make more levels same as fans using the TR Editor released with Chronicles.

Besides, to release something for the PS1 needs Sony's approval, which is very strict, and I doubt that such a tiny expansion would have been deemed profitable.

Ivans Chou of the Tomb Raider's Travellers Guide has an excellent summation.

This reminds me... I have TR1 on PS1, however I eventually do want to play the Unfinished Business levels. What would be the best way to go about this? Which version of the game should I buy, and where should I go to get it? My guess would be a used copy of the PC version, but I know it requires alot of work-arounds in order to run on XP. Thanks!
