I just realised if you boughtt monthly updates for xbox gold then in a year you would aquire 720 microsoft points instead of 200 for a year update, or am I mistaken as to how this system would work anyway rewards can never be a bad thing so kudos microsoft.

You only get 10pts per monthly renewal up to a maximum of 60pts for a year unfortunately.:(

Id rather just continue to buy a years Gold as opposed to a months. Besides it has more benefit to do so as shown on that pic.
