Hi Isaballa,

I am soooo good with computers! I accidently erased your message from my e-mail box. Fortunately it was still here on the forums and I've printed it off. :D

Still can't post a picture or new smiley, despite yours and others help!

When the thread about where you would like to go with a TARDIS came up I couldn't answer! Now I can, either BCT (before current technology) or ACT!

Sir John, are you pasting images into the http://www.tombraiderforums.com/forums/JCImages/scifi_image.gif button?

Don't get too frustrated, this took me forever to figure out. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

No Isabella,

When I click on properties I don't have the option of highlighting the URL address. So I copied the address down and went to the message I was trying to post.

Then a box appeared asking to type the URL address in. I did this and clicked OK, but all I got was the white flag with a red cross - not even Draco's white cat!

I've got a french version of windows xp, maybe it's a bit different?

:(

Make sure that if you are writing it down from scratch that you include htt:// at the front.

Are you right clicking on the image(s) that you want?

Thanks both of you but I'll try once more before they cart me off to the nut house!

;) You get a padded room and pretty soft "safety" crayons to draw with. ;)

Um, can I have a go at explaining? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

First, type a left square bracket: [

Then, in upper or lower case (not mixed), after the bracket type img

Type a right square bracket

Now, on your picture itself, right click and go to Properties. See the image url: click on it three times fast to highlight it all, then hit ctrl-c or right click the highlight and click Copy

Back at the reply box, click right next to the img box and hit ctrl-v or right click and select Paste to paste the url in. Make sure there's no spaces between the right square bracket and the http bit

Immediately after the end of the url (after the .gif or .jpg (image type)) enter another left square bracket

The enter an oblique: /

Then enter img in the same way as you did the first one

Then finish it with a right square bracket

The picture you're posting has to be from the net, otherwise it won't show. Hope this helped. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
