I hope I got the timing right. I just wanted to wish our Jewish friends a happy Hanukkah !
Come to think of it, how many Jewish folks have we got around here ? I know of at least one.

Well, regardless, I wish you all good times with your family and friends. Happy Hanukkah once again ! :)

Chag Sameach back at you. ^_^ It's actually like... the fifth night? hehe. but that's okay. :) My schedule's been totally thrown around this year by finals landing right in the middle of Chanukkah. Sigh. Once again. -_- Oh well!

You don't have to be Jewish to celebrate Chanukkah any more than you have to be Christian to celebrate Christmas and Easter. :ton: Actually, Jesus would probably celebrate Chanukkah and not Christmas. *lols* My mind is always a little boggled by how ignored Judaism is in, like, everything, haha. :p

He would have. He was Jewish. :p The only reason I say "would have" is because I'm drawing a blank on when the events of Hanukkah actually occurred. I can sense my mom slapping me right now for forgetting :o

150ish years BCE, I believe. :) and John 10:22-23:

22Then came the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, 23and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon's Colonnade.
