Hey andromeda! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

It's Alice, from the game 'American McGee's Alice', in a fan-art version http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I thought I recognised the face ;)

My daughter has to produce a 3D board game for her graphics tech project..

She picked Alice in Wonderland as her theme http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Here is her box design. http://simulation.tombraiderforums.com/forum/alicebox.jpg

is it a good game?

Hi Nicky, Yes, I oops SHE did a wonderful design. :D

But really, she got all the images designed and fortuneatly for her daddy has access to Professional 3D Solid CAD products. Not many kids get to design on 4000 cad systems at home :D

Evening TheEveningStar,

Alace is a pretty good game and is now in the bargin bucket section. You can pick it up for under 10.

It's an awesome game! One of my favorites http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif It has beautiful graphics, very atmospherical, and has some wonderful music, which is written by Chris Vrenna (of Nine Inch Nails).

I'm looking forward to replay it, but this time in the highest level of difficulty, the Nigthtmare Mode http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif

I loved those psychedelic settings in Fortress of Doors, and that level where Alice flies above the steam pipes (I don't remember the name now)

Oh, by the way, I wanted to mention this in the LATM thread, but I forgot: there's a part in one of the LATM levels, Blair Witch Project (the part with the pinkish poisoned water, small ledges and pink plants), that reminds me a lot of 'The Pool of Tears' level of Alice http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Is it scary? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

andromeda http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

It is a bit scary, but not the gore style. It's more like goth-style, but it also has some very nice puzzles. For example, there is one whole level which takes place on a chess board. It's black and grey, and only the chess pieces are coloured (white and red). This level is split in two mirror parts that are exactly the same (as in a chess board), and the whole logic of it is based on chess rules (you even get to follow the knight's movements at some point, otherwise you die).

It has levels of difficulty you can choose, so it depends on you about how scary or tough it's going to be. If you pick the easiest level, the enemies die more easily and freak you less. If you pick a higher level of difficulty, they are more hostile and they are hard to get down. Besides there are some enemies and bosses that are quite tough and scary in any case.
